I've got so many half-done things laying around. This was my original concept for "might." And I had a couple other ideas that I never got around to sketching out.
I've created several textures in photoshop by taking a grey field and applying different filters and/or gradients to it. I bump up the contrast or posterize it and export a jpg. I do all my drawing in flash, so I import the jpg and do a trace bit map. I knock out one of the colors and save the texture as a group. That way I can easily change its color and lay it over a block of a different color.
