This is the 500th post on Goonhead Patrol! It coincides pretty well with my layoff, and rethinking what I want to do with my life. It may just be time for me to really make a big push and make Savage Monsters the company that I've always wanted it to be. Just have to figure out how to make it happen. Maybe take on a partner. Or an employee to take care of business strategy, marketing and all the crap that I'm bad at.

Dave! It's so good to hear from you. Sorry you got laid off--that sucks. I got laid off from a job about 6 years ago, and in response I ate an entire pie. Apple, I think. So your response to make Savage Monsters bigger and better sounds pretty healthy! Much better than gorging yourself on baked goods. Let's see, I've been underemployed and/or unemployed most of 2008. Hoping to change that in '09. But it gave me a chance to start writing a novel. :) Happy Holidays!!!
